Modeling - building - interior - details - projector - all details

Screen created using cylinder to create base
Create plane and place
(plane will ab animated layer

Select projector placement (hanging off beam)
Create cylinder + box underneath
alt + q = isolation mode

Apply chamfer to depth edges

Apply connect down depth - high number - even

Select every other polygon along chamfer edges - extrude into object

Select front side - inset

Drag inset geometry away from object to create slope
Duplicate cylinder

Rotate and place as shown - apply inset + extrude inwards

Group (if necessary)

Exit isolation mode and adjust position if necessary

Projector requires light source to project onto screen

First applied material to projector (as should've been done before)

Lights - standard - mr target light (mental ray target light) Put source in centre of projector cylinder

Place target in centre of screen

Changed light cone to rectangle from circle

Rendering - environment - add volume light - begin adjusting settings
Lighting - select light (select projector light)

Render to test - defualt settings is full uniform solid light amount

Add noise filter to create more uneven light

Reduce density so barley visible as reqiured

Adjust size of volume light slightly (decrease target size) to fit screen better

Created material in photoshop consists of 6 pictures stacked

vertically and big gap of black to slide to when "turning off" projector

Apply bitmap to material - collapsed

Apply to projector screen - uvw map - box

Rescale to fit single slide - rendered to check bitmap quality (low quality only in viewport)

Use auto key to increase (or decrease) bitmap position vertically to effectively change slide shown on screen
Used formula of 6 frames per interchange - leave each slide on for 50 frames - repeat

When animation shows projector being turned off - slide bitmap texture to black part to represent turn off
