Modelling - building - exterior - Glazed walkway - Rebuild

Enter isolation mode containing left wall, external glass, external brick wall

Create Box (beam shape) - very high vertical segments number

Apply bend modifier - copy and reposition to replace every beam (remove old geometry or hide)

Create plane - same principle - lots of segments - apply bend modifier

Size and position to cover gap (glass)

Copy and reposition to cover 3 gaps

Apply shell modifier to create depth for glass - turn to address gaps between planes

Highlight horizontal edge facing opposing beam - use ring selection - use connect to add two lines of geometry

Repeat on opposing bar

Isolate two beams

Select opposing centre strips

Apply bridge modifier

Checked geometry overlap inside room - geometry requires trimming

Perspective view will not work due to obscured view

Orthographic view will show both side and wall as slit
Apply quick slice to separate excess geometry

Enter isolation mode to check slice + remove obscurities

Highlight all excess geometry - remove

Cap end segment - replace extra geometry using cut as necessary to allow for new bridging section to be selected separately

Highlight all bridging geometry

Detach as separate object

Remove beams on otherside - copy over these two pieces of geometry to cover gap on opposite side

Apply glass material to bridging piece and other glass pieces

Check other beams for excess geometry

Trim accordingly

This method of trim involved simply selecting extra geometry in polygon mode and remove
Then align extruding geometry with wall

Same technique can be applied with glass pieces

Import in group members stairs (for uniformity in video)

Sample material select onto steps to import material into slate editor

Render checked if any settings required changing

Glazed walkway is "open" as first intended requires geometry for doors and sealed environment

Created pole (box) to travel from floor to bottom of over hang

Copied bent beam from walkway - rotated and repositioned

Copied again and positioned as required

Create copy - scaled size

Scaled to create glass

Entered isolation mode

Thinned thickness by moving in vertices

Applied same materials as used in rest of walkway accordingly

Added plane - lots of vertical geometry

editable poly - moved each vertices down in tags to align with beam to create curve
Went to use connect to add horizontal geometry
Since altered verticies positions and altered height of polygons connect follows distance (exact halfway) and sweep down swell

To quickly rectify canceled and used quick slice instead

Selected geometry to be removed for doorway

Added beams (boxes) to frame doorway

Copied box and move to centre of doorway

Scaled wide - thinned - applied glass material (metal to beams)

Copied to otherside

Capped extra hole using single plane
